The United States is behind other developed nations, like Japan and Germany, in the use of robotics and factory automation. Could this be because it has been easier ... and cheaper ... to offshore our manufacturing to China and the likes? (And could our state and local governments be OK with less automation because robots don’t pay taxes?)
