Is seems obvious that we need intelligence agencies to stand up against their equivalents at our enemies, our adversaries, even our allies ... and sometimes, our wayward citizens. And by definition, these agencies are populated with nefarious types ... people who view boundaries as artificial and nuisances.
In other words, our best spooks are our worst people, often possible sociopaths ... they are the types needed to win in this world contest of amorality.
Big problem however pilgrim ... if these intelligence agents learn how to mess with and even overthrow foreign governments, it is but a short journey before they realize that they might do the same thing here at home.
I believe that what we have experienced during the Trump administration ... and in the recent election ... makes it clear that our trusted spooks have gone rogue ... and believe that they are now determinant. They think that they ultimately decide things.
So, for Thanksgiving pilgrims, let us all say a cranberry-sauce blessing: “Thank God for our intelligence agencies’ incompetitence.”
STAND UP FOR AMERICA!
