If it is quite rare (according to the WHO ... and contract tracing in multiple countries) that asymptomatic people can transmit COVID-19, then only symptomatic people need to self-isolate, wear masks and social distance ... see: NewsMax Story ... which was Dr. Fauci’s original position before his politics got the better of him.
This suggests that lockdowns were only valid until we learned this fact ... and asymptomatic people, whether infected or not, wearing masks and social distancing are just virtue signals.
This statement by WHO was retracted.
ReplyDeleteWasn't it The Who who vowed "...we won't be fooled again..."?
No matter the politics, always put more credence in the original statement ... and not the embarrassed retraction.
ReplyDeleteWhoever came up with this inane observation? Probably it was that Anon dotard you keep quoting as if he had the wisdom of Confucius.
ReplyDeleteLook at the numbers. Why are cases spiking in places that have abandoned masks and distancing? If there is not a spike in COVID cases as a consequence of the many unmasked BLM protesters, I will be surprised. We should see the effect within the next weeks.
Also, restarting Trump rallies should provide a demonstrable test of your position -- dismissing anyone following current medical advice as mere virtue signalers.
If you are wrong, how will you apologize to your acolytes?
All 3 of them?
