Is the widespread George Floyd rioting also a transferred reaction to the coronavirus lockdowns?

COVID-19 has nothing to do with it. There have been many such riots for the same or similar reasons before the corona virus came about. The reason for the riots is our continued discrimination against "others". Do the "others" then have the right to riot. I think not. What can we do about it? Continue to reduce discrimination . . . and not increase it as we are doing now with leadership from the White House. Axel

  2. If we believe that there will never again be such incidents as happened in Minneapolis, we are kidding ourselves. There are and will be bad apple cops forever ... and bad apple rioters ready to take advantage of bad apple cops to get some free stuff. You blame Trump for racial divide ... but I can’t help to wonder why a black president didn’t bring us together more. It was a great opportunity ... tragically missed. (But he did read a Teleprompter well.) I suspect in Nov. ... win or lose ... Trump will get close to 15% of the black vote.
    Stay well,
    Geo.

  3. I should have added that it is those who believe ... that bad apple cops represent all cops ... and bad apple rioters represent all protesters ... they are the real problem. And BTW I didn’t mean to connect coronavirus directly to the racial unrest ... just the lockdown that so resulted from the virus.
