Reparations should be a matter between the documented descendants of slaves and the descendants of slave owners. My grandparents came from other countries; we are not liable for any reparations. The Dems are just being political, trying (cynically) to gin-up the interest of black voters. After the election, nothing will change. I see DACA as a completely different matter. Justice for the kids -- who only know the US as "home" means letting them stay here with a path to citizenship for those who were not born here.
Can you imagine doing accurate genealogies on maybe 60 million people? Impossible! And as for DACA children, first we need the Supreme Court to decide if they are here as a result of a legal Obama ukase.
