You always need to backhand Obama to make your point. Obama worked with others to reach complex workable agreements that would have global impact. Trump tears things up with no replacement. Is that always the right thing to do?
Yeah right. There is that backhand to Obama again. Was Donald a firm leader in Russia (I trust Putin more than my people), Saudi Arabia (I don't bow, instead I curtsey and dance), and North Korea (saluting an NK general)?
That's not the point. It's that you rationalize DJT by comparing him to others, specifically Obama.... and no one else! Let Trump stand/fall on his own merits.
Sure. Lots. We just went through this a few posts back: if he gave considered TelePrompter speeches instead of crazy tweets and biased “rallies”. But if you tear up what others created and hang your hat on the stock market numbers, you need to start building what comes next. That gets difficult when you keep ejecting people from your staff.
He is changing the world ... to me, for the better ... and all you detractors can focus on is his style. Which, by the way, was the point of this post.
Please don't say "you detractors" when you mean "his detractors." I just finished saying that he is doing lots of things right. I am neither with ya nor agin ya...
Trump's style smacks more of Bannon than anything the Donald can conjure. Bannon's three goals: economic nationalism, miltary sovereignty, and destruction of the administrative state.
Saying Trump has done nothing immoral is the "laugh of the day" Nice try George. Missed on this one.
ReplyDeleteOK, but we're talking bog picture here ... not the small stuff.

ReplyDeleteProbably not always ... but more often than Obama's strategic patience which pretty much was like bending over for the soap ...

DeleteYou have figured out that I didnt t like nor respect Obama ... I must be a racist.
