For those readers who don't even know what a boarding-house was, let me explain. Back in the day there used to be such places that, not only rented you a room, but also included meals (board) ... usually just breakfast and dinner. So, those, who were the hungrier of the guests, would greedily reach across the table for servings before their turn ... or they had "boarding-house reach" or rude avariciousness.
Today this term can easily be applied to politicians who greedily grab for headlines ... or items featured on TV news programs. An example: the salacious story that the lefty media is currently pushing (yes, the landlords can participate in this game too) is that President Trump had an affair some twelve years ago with Stormy Daniels, a porn star. The idea of this "reach" headline is obviously to detract from all the good economic news of late and the possible disarmament breakthrough with North Korea. So this porn star story is featured, often just to exclude the other good news ... and to demean Trump and stir the pot with his family.
Of course, the Trump organization tries to fight back by hyping the Kim Jong-Un possible breakthrough or easing up on promised tariff impositions ... all very much like a wild scramble for the mashed potatoes at the boarding house.
Now, CBS is to feature an interview with Stormy Daniels on "Sixty Minutes" partly to distract from new developing allegations of sexual misconduct within its own executive ranks .. see: Rush Limbaugh Scoop ... and partly to set up a story that will be repeated over and over leading up to midterm elections that Trump is somehow a perv too -- "Did he use any force in your sexual encounter?", "How many times?" and even "How big is his member?"
All very sensational stuff. And be not surprised if CBS airs this interview the same week as Trump's meeting with Lil' Kim. CBS is not used to asking, "Please pass the gravy."
I kinda agree with you that the Stormy Danials affair is an old story. And with titanic tits, she is clearly not an innocent victim of anyone.
