Lesser of Two Evils

What is the lesser of two evils -- Trump calling the country Haiti a "shithole" or the Clintons' stealing $1.3 billion of earthquake relief funds from this same country? See: National Review Article.

Sidebar; President Truman once called something a "pile of manure." A reporter then asked Bess Truman if she couldn't get her husband to say "fertilizer" instead of "manure?" She replied that it had taken her many years to get him to say "manure" ...

  1. Your cited article is written by an avowed Clinton Hater, Dinesh DeSousa (another biased Dartmouth alum.) Too bad there is no proof to back up the claims.

    1. So you now automatically dismiss any new written by Trump haters? May I suggest you go to that well researched and documented book, "Clinton Cash". Also Hillary's brother then got the first gold mining license in Haiti for 50 years. Coincidence? Nah, can't be ...

    2. Schweizer said that his research uncovered no proof of a quid pro quo. Was that your "proof?"

  2. Quiz: who called Libya a "shit show" in 2012?

Trump? NO Bush '43? NO Gingrich? NO. Obama? YES

  3. BTW we have some marvelous shitholes right here in New York, Newark, Camden, St. Louis, Detroit, Baltimore, and LA.

  4. Libya WAS a shot show after Khadafi. Other than the common denominator of “shit”, the definitions of shithole and shitshow are really different.

    1. So what if Trump used "Hell hole" ,,, would that have been OK?

    2. Still no good. But ad hominem is far better than blasting all the people in a country. Prejudice by definition. All the Trump interpreters say that he really meant people who qualify for entering the labor force. But why must the pundits interpret the POTUS?

    3. I am constantly amazed how media types (particularly Mika and Joe) know exactly what is going on inside Trump's head ... but never know what he is going to do next.

  5. U think the context was Sudan, Somolia, and 2 others ... not the whole of Aftica.

  6. I think you are forgetting that Trump's supposed quote came from Durbin. Did he take any liberties?
