So why have do we have elections when we can just have polls? And if the polls are so revealing, who ensures that the polls are not rigged?
The 1628 people polled were a sample size that may be too small for estimates within those groups to be projectable with confidence to their true values in the population.
The total population was less than 100,000. If that was the sample size … which I doubt … it still seems adequate.
Less than 2% is adequate?
They said that 1628 was the sample size. Of course, in this addled world of truthing, it might have been more or less than that, and the responses may or may not have been accurately recorded.
2% of American voters would be 3 million. I doubt that Gallup surveys 1/500 of that count.
