Election Prediction

Let’s be frank. Donald Trump won the presidency in 2016, in large part, because much of Middle America despised Hillary Clinton. And, as politicians often do, the Democrats now believe that they can repeat this result by running a cipher for president ... since Trump is also disliked by many.

The question then presents itself ... why do voters dislike Trump ... and to what degree? Well, the answer to the first part is — because he had bested the smartest woman in the world whose time had come for her coronation. Yes, Trump’s sandpaper personality plays a part in this animosity ... but his defeating the Pink Princess is paramount ... witness all the rabid Deep State’s attempts to take him down.

So, what does this mean for November 3rd? Can I surmise? I believe that many Americans who voted for Hillary did so because she had a D after her name ... so her base is not unanimous in their disliking Trump’s defeating her. The Dem puppeteers might believe that the DC echo chamber is all of the America left. Believe me, it ain’t.

Therefore, I somehow doubt that Sleepy Joe will be swept into office on a wave of Orangeman animus ... duplicating the 2016 surprise

We shall see ...

STAND UP FOR AMERICA!

1. Frankly, Hillary got 2.9 million votes more than Trump. Trump won 2016 because of clever gerrymandering by GOP strategists who out-witted the Dems to win the electoral vote. That was no popular landslide. There certainly was an anti-Clinton cohort who voted for Trump, thinking "what have we got to lose?" The October surprise by Comey (re the reopening of email investigation) certainly cost her some support.

2. Millions of Bernie supporters sat-out the election because they believed Hillary "stole" the nomination with the help of the DNC. No one will be sitting this one out.

3. The motivation to sweep Trump (and his enablers) out of office and restore dignity to the oval office is powerful at this time particularly because of the inept handling of the pandemic, rise of Q-Anon, tax cuts for the rich, etc.

4. Pardoning Susan B. Anthony is typical of Trump's asinine efforts to appear presidential in the face of a crushing defeat in November.

5. The deluded 40% that constitute Trump's base is not enough to keep him in office. Wake up and smell the coffee.

Are you saying that Hillary wasn’t hated by much of those who voted for Trump? And that hatred of Trump is not just concentrated in the Swamp and their wokes?

I am saying that you underestimate the dissatisfaction of the voting public has for Trump because of his lies and self-aggrandizement. This is not about Hillary. Patriotic Voters want someone who does not get his talking points from Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh. Someone who doesn't govern by Tweet. Some one who reads. Someone who doesn't fire anyone who disagrees with his nonsense.
Most People want a Uniter not a divider. You do not seem to get that. The coffee is perking. Can't you smell it?

Do you understand you are saying American voters want personality ... whereas I believe that they want policy. How they would believe a wooden Indian like Biden has more personality than Trump is beyond my comprehension ... but Biden’s policy credentials are even worse. Trump isn’t running against Hillary ... but she was, to Middle America, far more unlikable. And, although Trump has his detractors ... like you and most of Mass, ... the hate gap between he and Biden is not as great ... and widespread ... as it was between Hillary and him in 2016.

Yes, I am saying that the majority of voters want to restore decency to the office and to the government. The policies you espouse mainly benefit the rich and powerful. Today (8-21-20), there is a full page ad in WSJ more than 70 former National security officials signed a statement that Trump is unfit for office. They enumerate 10 of his worst failings. All Republicans, so you can't call this "deep state." Read it and weep. #ByDon

Biden should get about an 8 point bounce coming out of his nomination. This may not happen ... see: “ https://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/election-2020/will-joe-biden-get-a-post-convention-bounce” Will Trump?
