Kerfuffle

President Trump was interviewed by Chris Wallace, one of his sniping critics, this Sunday on FoxNews for almost the entire hour. One of the high points was a kerfuffle between the two about whether Joe Biden wants to defund the police ... Trump saying he did and Wallace vehemently denying same. OK, Biden has not used the term “defund” but he did suggest that the police had become the enemy and its funds should be “redirected.” See: Townhall Article. This disagreement then was a distinction without a difference.

If FoxNews were truly “fair and balanced,” one would think that Wallace would have pointed this out.

But, to me, the real highlight of this whole back and forth was when Trump claimed that Biden could not hold his own in such an open-ended long interview. Trump said that Biden would be huddled on the floor whimpering “Mommy!”

Truer words ...

Afterward: To see the full interview go to Common Cents.

I really hope Trump does more of these interviews -- to clarify and defend his position, and his wonderful unprecedented accomplishments.

Perhaps the scales will fall from my eyes.

I think the scales are Superglued to your eyes. Did you really watch the interview? If so, congrats! If not, typical of you to comment on things of which you know nothing.

It was hard to watch due to the scales, but saw enough to realize that it was a waste of my time. Wallace asked some direct questions; Trump evaded, rambled incoherently, reiterated his QAnon talking points.

So now Wallace is your favorite journo?

Oh yes, he is a manchurian mole on Fox, planted to make Trump look silly. Unnecessary since he is constantly putting his own foot in his mouth. But you QAnons will believe any conspiracy theory, as long as it is posed as an alleged plot against Trump. Say hello to Alex Jones at your next QZoom meeting.

I have an idea! Why don’t I just copy this comment and paste it into every future post on this blog. It would save you lots of time and brain power. OK?
