Will the armed security guards have AR-15s?
Seriously though, I have been trying to determine the elapsed time of each assault. In the latest one, the guy walked out the door when he was done and bought lunch. If the first shot was fired in a room with an armed guard, boom! But if it was downstairs and at the other end of the building, a two-minute assault could be over before the guard became aware and figured where to scramble toward. You CANNOT have an armed guard in every classroom.
In fact, I do like this. It puts an authority in place for disciplinary problems that might need juvenile court, mental health services, and handling expulsons. But that person cannot go offsite.
How about at the entryway?
Metal detectors. Like TSA.
And mental case detectors ...
In Florida the armed guard -- good guy with a gun --did nothing while the kids were being shot. How's that working out?
I think he was waiting for stronger gun control laws ...
And I wouldn' call him a good guy. His boss, Sheriff Israel, is also a reptile.
