Shocking Prediction

President Trump is currently so despised by about 50% of the American public that, if this consensus suddenly realizes that he has indeed "made our country great again" (not a guarantee, but certainly possible), public opinion will swing from loathing to adoration.

I know, I know that you anti-Trumpers find this impossible to comprehend, but the study of cognitive dissonance (which you are now wallowing in) predicts that if and when positive thoughts replace negative passion, they are equally strong or stronger. So kind readers, please do not be shocked when, if Trump can deliver on his promises, his much-mocked visage someday appears on the twenty dollar bill!

Gasp!

I am expecting that Trump will cancel the 2020 POTUS election and then pass the mantle to his favored child, Ivanka, in 2024. Then all currency will have The Donald on it.

I looked up "cognitive dissonance." They had your picture next to the definition. Then I looked up "Inane", and they had this post as the example.
Maybe it's the meds?
BYW, we **don't want** him to deliver on his asinine promises.

Who do you mean by 'we' ? And what promises do you eschew?

We = Kind readers.
Asinine promises = Repeal and replace, fake tax cut, Huge Wall, reduce the $18 trillion deficit, eliminate the EPA, etc.

Asinine non-promises:
1. Maintain the world's largest military budget. Are we formally at war? Bring a large chunk of the personnel back to build the wall and rebuild the infrastructure.
2. Ensure that all Trump family products are made in the USA.
3. Divest of all real property in Russia, Israel, China, and the Middle East.
4. Close out all financial instruments between Trump family and Russia, Israel, China, and the Middle East.
5. Kick Jared and Ivanka out of the Executive branch altogether.

First, is a debt not a deficit. Second, BO left with a $20 trillion debt. Third, DT hasn't promised to kill the EPA, but giving it a little humility it might not be a bad idea.

I'll go with #5 ...
